Contrary to online reports, country star Dolly Parton isn't dead!
Rumors suggesting the "Jolene" singer had died of congestive heart failure started circulating over the weekend, but the star has laughed them off.
The spokeswoman for Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theater, where Parton is currently preparing for the opening of her 9 To 5 musical next month, says, "She's fine."
Theater staff are also playing down reports "9 To 5" star Mark Kudisch is nursing injuries after falling through a trap door on the stage.
